Location: Koreatown, Los Angeles; Fullerton, Orange CountyAbout the Practice: Our practice is dedicated to providing the highest quality orthopedic care with a focus on Shoulder Arthroscopy and Reconstruction, Sports Medicine, Joint Replacement, and Trauma. Our team of medical experts is specialized in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders related to the musculoskeletal system. We are committed to treating patients with honesty, compassion, and excellence.Position Overview: We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) passionate about orthopaedic surgery to join our team. The PA will work closely with our surgeons in both clinic and surgical settings. We offer the flexibility to work in the clinic only or in both the clinic and operating room. New graduates are welcome to apply and will receive comprehensive training. Fluency in Korean is required. Salary is commensurate with experience.Job Duties:In Clinic:Obtain patient histories and perform physical examsInterpret x-ray and advanced imaging findingsEstablish diagnoses and treatment plansDocument notes in EHRPerform and assist with clinical procedures such as injections and castingOrder appropriate laboratory or diagnostic testsHandle phone calls from patientsCall in orders to the hospital for patientsAssist with paperwork and forms required by patientsIn Hospital/Surgery Center (if opting for both Clinic and OR):Arrive before scheduled cases to identify patients, help with positioning, and ensure all instruments are readyAssist the surgeon during proceduresAssist with wound closures, fitting of braces or casts, post-op orders, and transferring patients to the post-op areaMake hospital rounds as requiredBe on call for emergencies after hours and weekends if neededQualifications:PA license in the state of CaliforniaPassionate about orthopaedic surgeryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work closely with surgeons and other medical staffWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environmentFluency in Korean is requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid time offRetirement planAbility to Commute:Los Angeles, CA 90020 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Los Angeles, CA 90020: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
