Responsibilities Work in a 12-bed Level 1 LDRP unit with a Level 1 nursery Unit staffed according to AWHONN staffing guidelines Patient care includes low-risk L&D, mother/baby, antepartum, and postpartum cases Skills utilized include NST, reflex checks, external and continuous fetal monitoring, cardiac monitoring, IV therapy/phlebotomy, APGAR scoring, pain management, triage, and emergency care Epic EMR experience is required Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Every third weekend required Holiday coverage may be required Provide comprehensive nursing care across the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum continuum in a Level 1 LDRP setting Scrubs are provided by the facility Candidates must be clean-shaven to pass a respirator fit test — CAPRs and PAPRs are not available and personal respiratory devices are not permitted on-site; no exceptions will be made First-time travelers are welcome to apply Requirements Active WI or Compact RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced certification preferred Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required Epic EMR experience required 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-679328.
