Charge Entry Specialist

A company is looking for a Charge Entry Associate to support the Revenue Cycle Management team. Key Responsibilities Enter and review professional and facility charges for accuracy and completeness Scrub claims for coding discrepancies and collaborate with providers to resolve issues Submit claims electronically and resolve front-end rejections to minimize denials Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in medical billing or healthcare preferred At least one year of experience in a healthcare or billing environment is preferred Knowledge of practice management systems and Microsoft Office Understanding of insurance billing processes and basic revenue cycle management principles Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
