A Restoration Franchise Business Consultant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success and sustainable growth of franchise locations by providing strategic guidance, operational support, and fostering a collaborative relationship between the franchisor and franchisees. Duties/Responsibilities Collaborative Goal Setting: Collaborate with franchisees to develop and achieve company goals. Provide expertise and guidance on operational projects and systems. Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to enhance organizational efficiency. Streamline processes and optimize resource and material utilization. Alignment with Business Plan: Ensure that departmental decisions align with the organization's business plan and vision. Develop and execute project plans related to staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities. Technology and Trends: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in operations management. Integrate innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness. Training and Development: Identify training needs and facilitate the development and delivery of training programs. Conduct on-site assessments at designated locations, providing constructive feedback for improvement. Ongoing Support: Offer continuous support for skill development and business improvement. Evaluate and enhance the operational efficiency of franchise locations. Performance Evaluation: Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies for optimization. Conduct evaluations to ensure adherence to quality standards and brand guidelines. Financial Management: Assist franchisees in financial management, budgeting, and financial reporting. Provide advice on pricing strategies and implement cost control measures. Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions. Collaborate with franchisees on local marketing strategies. Operational Challenges: Offer guidance on advertising, promotions, and community outreach. Provide assistance in addressing operational challenges and disputes. Action Plans: Develop action plans to address performance issues and capitalize on opportunities. Maintain accurate records of consultations and support provided. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience. Strong proficiency in business mathematics, including reading and understanding financial statements. Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with employees, franchise owners, prospective franchisees, and vendors.
