FAA Licensed Staff Software Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, AQNav. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and test complex software systems for an AI/quantum-based magnetic navigation system Make software architectural decisions, including porting from Python to C++ for certification purposes Collaborate on development practices for FAA certification and military compliance Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract requirements BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent field 10+ years of industry experience in software development Experience with certified avionics software systems (e.g., DO-178C) Strong expertise in C/C++ and Python, with experience in additional languages preferred
