NERC Compliance Standards Specialist

A company is looking for a NERC Compliance O&P Standard Specialist to support compliance efforts in the Transmission function and renewable energy portfolio. Key Responsibilities Act as the Compliance Business Partner for AES Operations & Planning (O&P) Compliance Serve as the technical authority within the O&P group, ensuring timely implementation of NERC Reliability Standards Requirements Assist with audit preparations, self-certifications, and compliance reviews while monitoring Standards drafting teams Required Qualifications Four-year bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years of related work experience Prior NERC O&P and utilities compliance experience Experience with Protection Systems, SCADA Systems, and Transmission Planning Highly motivated, self-starter willing to take on new challenges
