A company is looking for a Patient Engagement Center Advocate to provide service to patients and providers through calls and appointment scheduling.
Key Responsibilities Respond to incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments in the EMR system Document patient requests and information clearly in the EMR Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet call production goals Required Qualifications High School diploma or GED 1+ years of experience in a call center, customer service, medical office, or as a receptionist Previous medical office experience preferred, with optometric or ophthalmic experience strongly preferred Ability to work multiple computer programs simultaneously Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
