Accounts Payable Representative The Accounts Payable Representative compiles and maintains accounts payable records, completes payments, and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Salary for this position is $50K-$60K a year based on experience. What You'll Do: Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment, and input invoices for payment Process check requests and set up invoice payment runs Respond to vendor inquiries, reconcile vendor statements, and research and correct discrepancies Communicate vendor address changes to the appropriate personnel Assist in month-end closing, as well as year-end and ad hoc audits Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and generally accepted accounting practices Assist with other projects as needed and support other accounting functions Why You'll Love Working for Us: Comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, and vision coverages Insurance: life, supplemental life, short and long-term disability 401(K) match Paid vacation and holidays Employee assistance program (EAP) PPE allowances What We Need from You: Associate's degree in accounting Two years of accounts payable experience preferred General math, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts, and corporate procedures Efficient time management skills with strong attention to accuracy, detail, and organization Effective interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to operate a PC (including Microsoft software, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.), calculator, and other miscellaneous office equipment Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness Grede is proud to support transitioning service members and current military veterans with career opportunities that are a match for their skills gained while serving our country.
