Industry Accounting Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of an experienced international Head of Tax to join their remote-based team. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing and managing the tax strategy, compliance, and operations, with a primary focus on U.S. tax. This critical leadership role involves working closely with senior management to ensure compliance with U.S. tax laws and to provide guidance on international tax considerations. Key responsibilities include US tax compliance, tax reporting, international tax awareness, and tax risk management. Applicants for the Head of Tax position at the company should have a strong understanding of U.S. federal, state, and local tax laws, as well as experience with tax reporting and compliance, including ASC 740. Some knowledge of international tax principles and experience working with international tax advisors is also required. A background in the online gaming or gambling industry, particularly with a focus on emerging Fintech solutions and payment gateway technologies, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' senior management experience in a treasury or financial management role, professional qualifications in finance or accounting, and a proven track record in tax technology solutions and financial software. Familiarity with the cryptocurrency or blockchain industry, or at least a keen interest in digital assets and their regulatory landscape, is highly desirable.
