Underwriting Associate

A company is looking for an Underwriting Associate to assist with underwriting insurance risks and provide support to underwriting staff. Key Responsibilities Analyze underwriting information and respond to quotes, renewals, and policy endorsements Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and document pricing decisions Collaborate with internal partners and assist underwriters with agency engagement and policy needs Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Completion of or working towards CIC or AU certifications/designations 3 years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience preferred Knowledge of coverage forms and endorsements used in policy construction Ability to utilize internal tools and stay current on underwriting strategies and regulations
