Cost Estimator

A company is looking for a Cost Estimator to lead and contribute to the development of estimates and pricing strategies for Battery Energy Storage Systems and photovoltaic projects. Key Responsibilities Collect and manage historical costs from existing projects to inform future projects Support project execution teams with design spec reviews and cost reviews for EPC contracts and change orders Prepare and manage EPC pricing throughout pre-construction and construction phases, ensuring cost accuracy and identifying optimization opportunities Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction, Building Science, or Energy Systems Management 2 years of experience in cost estimating for renewable energy projects, specifically large-scale PV and BESS projects Experience in running Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) models for commercial offtake Ability to create PV and BESS cost models and validate electrical and structural engineering work for cost accuracy Experience leading estimating efforts for pricing inputs for Power Purchase Agreement RFP bids
