ON-CALL HOSPICE RNLocation: Fairfax, VAPay: $45+ (depending on experience)Shifts: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 5pm to 8:00amOur Hospice team in Northern Virginia is looking for a PRN On-Call Evening/Night Nurses to provide end of life care to patients in Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, City of Alexandria, and City of Arlington. Must be available to work as needed Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 5pm to 8:00am. Responsibilities:Provide routine emergency care visits to patients as assigned and triaged by on call serviceMake phone calls to assigned patients to triage symptomsProvides follow up phone calls to assess efficacy of recommended treatmentsCarries out full admissions when needed     Provide visits to confirm absence of vital signs unless families decline visits  Qualifications:An active State of Virginia RN license, and a minimum of 3 years of acute care and/or hospice experience. Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide meaningful care to communicate with the terminally ill. Excellent communication and customer service skills and attention to detail.Proficient Microsoft Office 365 and EMR systems skills.
