The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of national and local marketing strategies, tactics & programs. They will provide feedback and collaborate with their Marketing Director and other team members to influence the evolution of programs, systems & processes. Must have working knowledge of both digital and traditional marketing tactics. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct reports. Duties and Responsibilities: Partner with local marketing agency to identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives and optimize accordingly Assist and educate franchisees on marketing tactics, programs and other activities to help drive lead generation and build local brand awareness Have firsthand knowledge of any marketing issues franchises are experiencing - investigate and provide solutions Assist in the development of new marketing tools, resources, and programs Assist in the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration Meet regularly with the marketing director to provide status on execution of the marketing plan Understand all corporate and local area marketing programs to communicate and gain adoption and enthusiasm of programs to franchisees Identify new opportunities to build brand awareness and generate leads and proactively share best practices and successes with brand and broader marketing team Assist in building marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan Work with the other marketing teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors Provide Franchisee education and support via webinars and other group learning opportunities Attend brand meetings, yearly conventions and present marketing updates Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Required Skills and Abilities: Highly proactive self-starter who can work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, at all levels, and maintain great relationships. Experienced working with/coordinating with vendor partners Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategies Data driven, comfortable making sense of metrics Team player and collaborative Comfortable in a growing "scrappy" small team environment, with an eagerness to think outside the box Customer service orientated to support a network of 90+ franchise locations across the U.S. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, see the big picture and escalate issues appropriately Strong communication and influencing skills and able to work well cross-functionally Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills Must be able to take ownership and work independently Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, and 4+ years of experience in marketing, or Combination of education and experience. Franchisor, Pet Grooming industry experience a plus Physical Requirements: Light-duty work environment primarily office-based with minimal physical exertion. Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer. Occasional standing or walking for presentations or facilitation. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs occasionally. Hybrid model Work from the office on Tues/Wed/Thurs and from home on Mon/Fri.
