Recruiter & Field Operations Trainer EOS Seat: People & Culture / Recruiting/ HR Reports To: COO/ Executive Leadership Job Summary Pine Lake Companies is hiring a bilingual Recruiter & Field Operations Trainer to support our growing commercial landscape operations across Central Florida. This role is responsible for high-volume recruiting of landscape crew laborers, including seasonal H-2B workers, while also spending time in the field training teams and reinforcing Pine Lake's culture, safety standards, and performance expectations. This is a hands-on, field-facing role ideal for someone who understands labor-intensive environments, enjoys working directly with crews, and can partner effectively with operations leadership. Key Responsibilities Recruiting & Hiring Manage full-cycle recruiting for landscape crew laborers (seasonal and year-round) Source, screen, interview, and hire candidates aligned with operational needs Support and manage the H-2B recruiting process (preferred experience) Coordinate hiring timelines to ensure crews are fully staffed during peak seasons Maintain accurate hiring, onboarding, and workforce records Onboarding, Training & Culture Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires Travel regularly between job sites to:Train employees on company standards, expectations, productivity, and safetyReinforce Pine Lake culture, values, and professionalismSupport supervisors and foremen with people-related needs Serve as a point of contact for crew members regarding onboarding and general employment questions Employee Relations & Retention Support positive employee relations across multiple locations Assist with resolving employee concerns in a fair and consistent manner Partner with operations leadership to improve employee engagement and retention Help ensure consistency in workforce practices across all sites KPIs, Incentives & Bonus Metrics Time to fill open field positions 90-day and seasonal retention rates H-2B compliance milestones met on time Onboarding and training completion rates Safety performance metrics (incident reduction, training participation, jobsite compliance) Safety performance may be included as a bonus or incentive metric based on company goals. Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required Prior experience recruiting labor crews in landscaping, construction, agriculture, or similar industries H-2B recruiting experience preferred and considered a strong plus Experience working directly with field-based or hourly workforces Ability and willingness to travel frequently between job sites Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working in outdoor and job site environments Preferred Experience High-volume or seasonal hiring Multi-site operations support Training or coaching frontline employees Familiarity with basic employment and onboarding compliance Work Environment Field-based role with regular travel between locations Combination of office, job site, and outdoor environments Full-time position 30-60-90 Day Field Immersion Plan First 30 Days: Shadow operations leadership, supervisors, and crew leaders Learn Pine Lake safety standards, culture, and productivity expectations Participate in onboarding, tailgate meetings, and job site walkthroughs Build recruiting pipeline and understand seasonal staffing needs Days 3160: Independently manage high-volume recruiting for field roles Lead onboarding and field training sessions Support supervisors with people-related challenges Assist with safety training reinforcement and tailgate participation Days 6190: Fully own recruiting, onboarding, and early-stage training outcomes Demonstrate measurable improvements in staffing levels and retention Actively support safety performance and job site compliance Partner with leadership on workforce planning and seasonal readiness
