Forklift We are seeking a diligent and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. The role requires proficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment in a challenging, fast-paced environment, encompassing a 50+ acre outdoor facility (both paved and unpaved) and covered/uncovered manufacturing areas. A regional lawn and garden supplier in Quakertown, PA providing landscaping materials, garden supplies, and reliable service for both residential and commercial needs. Forklift Details: Temp-to-Hire position $ 18.50 / hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:00pm) Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment Organize product in the yard according to inventory procedures Safely load product onto and unload product from flatbeds and box trailers Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation by auditing, recording and interpreting shipping documentation, weights & measures, labels and production schedules Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Forklift Qualifications: At least 2 years' experience operating 5,000 lb. forklift in an outdoor yard environment Ability to perform routine inspection, fueling & preventive maintenance duties (lubrication, cleaning, battery change) While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak or hear Math, communication, and comprehension skills to interface with transportation, dispatch, & direct trailer hitch operations Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
