Job Description

Maintenance Technician CMC provides an excellent opportunity to learn the steel, construction reinforcement and ground stabilization industries and to grow in your career. Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and plant facilities. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues. Assist in installation, setup, and calibration of new or repaired equipment. Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability. Maintain accurate maintenance records, including service logs and parts inventory. Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental standards. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to quickly resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime. Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Basic computer skills for work orders, maintenance tracking, and reporting. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulatory standards. 1-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience with automated or computerized manufacturing equipment preferred. Must have a valid driver's license. High School Diploma or GED required. Vocational Degree Preferred.
