Assembler The assembler will receive machined parts and gather additional components as per work instructions to complete assemblies. This role involves using various hand and power tools such as wrenches, torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and drills. Assemblers will refer to visual guides or blueprints/schematics to ensure accuracy. They will also be trained to test assemblies to meet production and quality standards. Responsibilities: Receive and organize machined parts and additional components. Assemble products using hand and power tools. Follow visual guides, blueprints, or schematics for accurate assembly. Conduct final testing to ensure assemblies meet production and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Essential Skills: Mechanical assembly experience. Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers. Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in electrical assembly, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Work Environment: The work environment is clean, organized, and tailored specifically for the assembly process, separate from the machine shop. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with some flexibility post-training. The team comprises six cells and two other assembly colleagues, including a lead. Each assembler has their own cell equipped with necessary parts and tools. Dress code is casual, requiring close-toed shoes, jeans or work pants, and a t-shirt or long sleeves. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, MN. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
