Illinois Licensed Business Development Specialist

A company is looking for a Business Development Specialist responsible for developing new business and retaining current customers. Key Responsibilities Analyze customer accounts to identify cross-sell opportunities and deepen client engagement Generate new business leads and maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions Collaborate with marketing teams to implement effective sales campaigns and manage a portfolio of lost accounts Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or Business with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of related experience Proven capabilities in marketing-related duties with an understanding of insurance rating platforms Preference for applicants with retail agency experience State P&C and/or surplus line license is required Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) is a plus
