Operations Intern- Summer 2026 This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. The ECP Operations Intern will gain hands-on experience conducting regulatory research and supporting compliance-related initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. The intern will contribute to projects involving licensing, reporting requirements, and regulatory monitoring, while gaining exposure to healthcare regulatory frameworks and operational compliance practices. How You Will Make an Impact Conduct regulatory research related to state licensing, reporting, and compliance requirements Update and maintain regulatory reference materials and tracking documents Analyze regulatory changes and summarize key impacts for internal stakeholders Assist in developing new research memoranda on emerging regulatory topics Support documentation, tracking, and organization of compliance materials Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather information and clarify regulatory requirements Present research findings in clear, concise written summaries Minimum Qualifications Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship program (May 18th- August 7th). Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (e.g., pre-law, political science, public policy, healthcare administration, business, or related field) Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements For the Veteran internship, candidates do not need to be students as military experience and training can be substituted for educational experience. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines Prior coursework in legal research, regulatory policy, or healthcare law Experience conducting structured research and drafting formal summaries Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) What You Will Gain Practical experience conducting regulatory research in a healthcare environment Exposure to multi-state compliance requirements and operational considerations Insight into how legal and compliance functions support business operations Professional development through mentorship and cross-functional collaboration For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary range for this specific position is $18.92 to $28.26.
