The RoleThe Operations Specialist is responsible for how vehicles move through the Garage 42 ecosystem from transport and storage to service and presentation. This role is the backbone of our transportation, logistics, and day-to-day vehicle operations.You will ensure that every vehicle is moved, handled, stored, and serviced with precision, professionalism, and care, while serving as a key point of communication between our members, the General Manager, and the Detailing Department. Candidates will be considered for either an L1 (entry-level) or L2 (experienced) Operations Specialist position based on experience and qualifications.ResponsibilitiesTransportation & Vehicle LogisticsOperate Garage 42s enclosed flatbed tow truck for client pickups, deliveries, dealer transfers, and event transportPerform and document daily safety checks and scheduled maintenance on our vehicles and transport equipmentSafely load, secure, and unload high-value, low-clearance, and specialty vehiclesConduct pre- and post-transport inspections and condition reports per Garage 42 SOPsDrive customer vehicles to and from local service partners as neededProvide emergency after-hours and weekend transport support on occasionMaintain transport logs, vehicle movement records, and incident-free executionVehicle Service, Operations, and Facility SupportCoordinate and perform routine maintenance and light mechanical work, including fluid services, brakes, diagnostics, and inspectionsInstall and balance tires and swap wheels on customer vehiclesPrepare vehicles for service, storage, events, and deliveryEnsure vehicles are properly staged, protected, and documented at all timesMaintain strict adherence to Garage 42 storage, handling, and safety standardsHelp perform facility maintenance tasks on equipment, general cleaning, and facility repairsMember ExperienceDeliver a premium, customer-focused experience in every interactionCommunicate clearly and proactively with members regarding transport, timelines, and vehicle statusMaintain consistent, reliable communication with the General Manager and Detailing DepartmentRepresent Garage 42 professionally on-site, off-site, and at eventsAssist with on and off site event operations Bring a positive, calm, and solutions-focused presence into the facility every dayWho This Role Is Great ForSomeone with experience in vehicle transport, detailing, dealership operations, or logistics who wants more variety and responsibilityA mechanically capable automotive enthusiast who enjoys hands-on work and problem-solvingSomeone who values quality, trust, and culture over flat-rate pressureA professional who takes pride in being calm, organized, and dependable around high-value vehiclesSomeone looking to grow with a premium automotive brand as it expands its logistics and service operationsRequired Skills & Qualifications2-5 years' experience working with exotic, luxury, classic, and high-value vehiclesExperience professionally or personally operating an enclosed flatbed tow truck or truck and trailer (CDL not required)Demonstrate ability to operate a manual transmission vehicleAbility to perform basic maintenance tasks (oil changes, brake bleeds, ect.)
