The Opportunity... We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Compliance Intern to support our Medicare Advantage marketing submission process in preparation for the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). This role is critical to ensuring all marketing materials are submitted to carriers accurately and on time, tracked efficiently, and approved prior to the start of AEP. This intern will work directly with carrier portals, manage high-volume submissions, track approval statuses, and communicate with carriers and Compliance Manager regarding revisions and rejections. The ideal intern candidate thrives in deadline-driven environments, is exceptionally organized, and can manage multiple moving pieces with precision. How You'll Contribute... Assist with the submission of Medicare Advantage marketing materials through various carrier platforms (Smartsheets, Wrike submission portals, Excel trackers, email, and other carrier-specific systems) Track submission status and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of approvals, rejections, and pending items Provide regular status updates to Compliance Managers and other key departments Communicate directly with carrier representatives regarding revisions, required changes, and rejected materials Able to assist in managing a high volume of submissions during peak AEP ramp-up periods Ensure all materials are submitted according to carrier-specific requirements and deadlines Collaborate with the Media Team to coordinate submission timing and material updates Escalate urgent issues or delays that may impact AEP readiness What We're Looking For... Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required) Interest in working with large data sets and solving real-world compliance challenges Excellent written communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workloads Ability to communicate professionally with external partners Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed Local to our Playa Vista HQ and able to work in-office 3 days per week Nice to Have but Not Required... Experience with Smartsheets, Wrike, or similar project management tools preferred but not required Medicare or CMS marketing guideline knowledge preferred but not required Intern Life at Centerfield...
