Northern Illinois Food Bank seeks an extraordinarily motivated candidate to join our team as a Philanthropy Database Coordinator, supporting the organization's philanthropic operations through the processing of donations, maintenance of Raiser's Edge records, and management of data imports, exports, and reporting. Assignments are determined by operational needs and position availability, based on full-time or part-time hours, with additional donor-facing and stewardship responsibilities assigned based on capacity. All Coordinators are expected to demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. This Full-Time position is based out of our West Suburban Center (Geneva) location. Duties and Responsibilities: Process daily contributions through online and offline channels, including cash, stocks, and gift-in-kind, ensuring that all constituent information is accurate and consistent. Follow NIFB standard operating procedures for gift entry, and update procedures in the NIFB Gift Processing Manual on an as needed basis. Import gift and constituent information regularly from online giving platform; the lockbox, our direct mail processing system; and any other imports necessary. Prepare daily reports on cash receipts and maintain required digital and paper records. Perform gift adjustments and merge or link records as needed. Update and utilize Raiser's Edge queries and reports, as needed. Provide excellent and timely customer service for all donor processing and gift-related inquiries, by taking donations over the phone, fielding donor questions via email and phone and investigating and providing responses, making changes to donor records, updating monthly donor information, providing tax statements, or issuing acknowledgments, as assigned based on capacity. Prepare and validate data for donor acknowledgments across all giving channels, including event and food or fund drive donors, as assigned based on capacity. Act as a resource to the Philanthropy Team for the creation of reports and queries and completion of data import requests. Participate in special projects around gift processing or database management, as needed. Process employee/matching gifts made via third party platforms. This starting range for this position is $24.27/hr - $25.79/hr, based on skills and experience. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred. 1+ year of experience working with Raiser's Edge required. Proficient in MS Office, including advanced Excel. Familiarity with technology; must be able to quickly learn new technologies. Experience with philanthropy software databases preferred. Ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects with accuracy is required. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of customer service. Must have ability to work independently and in a team. Must have an analytical mind, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
