Location: Eden Prairie, MN 55344Pharmacy Type: Long-Term Care (Closed-Door / Non-Retail)Pay Rate: $62.50 - $65.00 per hour (hourly)Employment Type: Full-Time (Contract options available)We are seeking a Long-Term Care Pharmacist to join a growing closed-door LTC pharmacy serving skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. This is a non-retail, non-patient-facing environment focused on high-volume prescription accuracy, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.This role is ideal for pharmacists who enjoy a fast-paced, precision-driven setting and prefer verification, clinical support, and operational excellence over traditional retail workflows.Key Responsibilities:Review and verify physician-issued prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, interactions, and regulatory compliance (PV1 & PV2)Perform Data Verification (PV1) and Final Product Verification (PV2) to ensure medication safety before distributionSupervise and direct pharmacy technicians in dispensing, packaging, labeling, and order fulfillmentCompound sterile and non-sterile medications following standard formulas and proceduresEnsure accurate intake and timely fulfillment of prescription ordersProvide clinical support to nursing facility staff and physicians regarding medication therapy and drug interactionsAssist with urgent or stat medication requests and troubleshoot order issuesMaintain proper medication storage, documentation, and record-keeping systemsSupport quality improvement initiatives and prescription accuracy programsPromote open communication internally and externally to enhance pharmacy operationsParticipate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call support as scheduledEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations (DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, OSHA, etc.)Uphold the Company's Code of Conduct and Business EthicsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacyActive Pharmacist license in Minnesota (multi-state licensure a plus; must be willing to obtain additional licenses if needed)Long-Term Care pharmacy experience preferred (not required)Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to maintain regular attendance and adapt to rotating schedulesRegistered Pharmacist (Required)Schedule Options:Day Shift (40 hours/week)5 8-hour shifts per weekRotating start times:6:30am, 9:30am, 10:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pmExpect 1-2 afternoon/closing shifts per weekWeekend rotation:Every 3 weeks initiallyEvery 4-5 weeks after on-boarding7 On / 7 Off (Nights)Thursday-Wednesday schedule72 hours worked / 80 hours paidSchedule for 7 on / 7 off:Thurs: 10am-7pmFri: 10am-8pmSat: 8am-8pmSun: 8am-7pmMon-Wed: 10am-7pmOne full week off between rotationsWhy Join Us?Growing Long-Term Care pharmacyClosed-door, non-retail environmentLaid-back, collaborative cultureStrong technician support and advanced automationOpen to contract or shorter-term engagementsLTC experience is helpful, but training is available motivated pharmacists can learn quicklyOpen Positions1-2 Overnight Pharmacists (highest priority)3-4 Day Shift Pharmacists
