Shipping and Receiving Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist who is proficient in English, both verbal and written. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate and timely handling of merchandise within our warehouse operations. Responsibilities Receive and check incoming merchandise, ensuring accuracy. Use pick tickets to pull merchandise for orders according to description, quantity, size, etc. Pack orders and shrink wrap contents onto pallets. Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment. Load and unload trucks, handle order pulling including physical merchandise such as cases, boxes, units, and pallets. Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards. Perform other general warehouse duties as needed. Essential Skills Proficient with sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks. Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience. Proven experience as order picker or other warehouse position. Ability to read and write in English. Good physical strength and stamina. Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Attention to detail and basic math skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience or license in handling sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Great attention to detail and punctuality. Diligent and driven with a strong initiative. Why Work Here? We work directly with manufacturers to offer competitive prices and distribute to cruise line and hospitality industries. The schedule is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
