Manage cash application: Independently support assigned customer portfolios, resolving complex remittance issues and ensuring daily balancing Analyze unapplied cash trends: Investigate recurring exceptions to reduce processing delays Troubleshoot payment interfaces: Collaborate with internal departments and IT to review system issues and suggest automation enhancements System review and testing: Participate in testing and validation of system changes related to cash workflows or remittance automation Process improvement and updates: Contribute to process documentation revisions and control improvement efforts across cash application Engage with reporting tools: Engage with reporting tools to monitor cash accuracy, aging of unapplied cash, and overall reconciliation performance Account reconciliation: Support daily and month-end reconciliation of customer accounts, ensuring alignment between cash, AR, and bank data Perks You'll Enjoy! What Makes You the Perfect Fit! Associate's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred; Bachelor's degree is a plus, depending on role complexity 24 years of relevant business, financial, or administrative experience including working Knowledge of key processes and systems for this functional area Solid understanding of financial workflows or operational policies Highly detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and troubleshoot routine issues MS Office: Excel (above average), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint SAP or equivalent Experience in retail, wholesale, or large company environments is a plus Caleres is an Equal Opportunity Employer by choice.
