Project Purchasing Specialist To support Purchasing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering in identifying, developing, and maintaining prototype and pilot-stage supply chains. This role ensures optimized cost, logistics, and delivery while providing clear communication to stakeholders on component status and project timing. Primary Duties: Assist with supplier quotations for new development projects, suggest optimal supply chain solutions, and utilize preferred global suppliers. Coordinate prototype and pilot build purchasing activities, including PO creation, expediting, and MRP cost data accuracy. Organize and maintain supplier readiness for prototype and pilot builds, including expediting PPAP reviews with Quality. Communicate project status, timing, and risks to internal stakeholders; escalate issues as needed. Maintain supplier performance, preferred supplier lists, and support supplier development and transition activities. Verify and maintain data integrity in SAP S/4 Hana for new products (weights, commodity codes, planners). Support KPI improvements, reporting performance against objectives, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Your Profile Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field or 8 years of commensurate experience. Experience in Procurement or Purchasing within a manufacturing environment Experience making sourcing decisions based on cost, quality, and delivery Knowledge of PPAP, ISO 9001, and standard quality requirements Experience with MRP systems (Fourth Shift or similar) and SAP S/4 Hana preferred Knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Excel for medium-complexity tracking Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing. Annualized base pay between $65,000 to $80,000.
