Ohio Licensed Clinical Intake Specialist

A company is looking for a Clinical Intake Specialist to manage patient intake processes and documentation. Key Responsibilities: Review referral packet information and document patient diagnoses and clinical summaries in the EMR Ensure accuracy with ICD-10 coding guidelines and collaborate with peers to resolve documentation issues Identify trends in documentation quality and escalate issues to leadership as necessary Required Qualifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) certification with a current license Minimum of 2 years' experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in home health intake Medical coding experience is required Knowledge of clinical best practices, HIPAA regulations, and home health agency guidelines Experience with Medicare Home Health documentation requirements is preferred
