Controls Technician Night Shift Installation and Maintenance: Installing, maintaining, and repairing control systems and equipment. This involves understanding electrical and mechanical systems and ensuring they operate correctly. Testing and Troubleshooting: Conducting tests and diagnostics to identify issues with control systems. Troubleshooting involves analyzing problems and implementing solutions to ensure optimal performance. Programming: Writing or modifying software programs for control systems, ensuring they function according to specifications. This may involve PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, or other automated systems. Calibration: Calibrating sensors, controllers, and other components of control systems to ensure accuracy and reliability. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and modifications to control systems. Safety and Regulations: Adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with standards. Training and Support: Providing training to operators or other technicians on the use and maintenance of control systems. Offering technical support to resolve issues as they arise. Requirements: Education: Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Some positions may require additional technical training or certifications related to control systems.
