Loan Documentation Manager Mid Penn Bank is actively seeking a Loan Documentation Manager in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, PA, or New Brunswick, NJ. The Loan Documentation Manager leads the teams responsible for the accurate processing, preparation, and review of commercial and consumer loan documents. This role ensures that loan processing and documents align with credit approvals, internal bank policies, and regulatory standards. The Loan Documentation Manager manages the Commercial Lending Support function responsible for assisting Loan Officers and their clients. A primary focus of the role is maintaining quality control including critical oversight of the commercial loan process and documentation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversees the generation of consumer and commercial loan documentation either using bank document preparation solutions or bank approved attorneys. Supervises and trains a team of documentation specialists to ensure consistent quality and adherence to credit quality and service-level standards. Manages Lending Support team and helps them as needed with working with loan officers to properly handle loan requests, obtaining required information for loans, and ensuring a positive client experience. Acts as the primary point of contact for loan officers and external parties to resolve documentation issues and coordinate timely settlements. Performs second-level reviews of loan documents as needed to confirm compliance with credit approval, internal policies, and regulatory standards. Implements strategies to achieve goals assigned to the department as established in the division's annual operating plan; assists in the development of the annual budget for the department and adheres to budget parameters. Manages and supervises assigned team. Help ensure loans satisfy the requirements for BSA/AML, HMDA, CRA, Flood Disaster Protection Act, and other regulations that apply to commercial and consumer loans. Trains the Loan Documentation and Lending Support staff on loan documentation procedures as well as documentation requirements for various loan types, e.g. term loan, construction loan, line of credit, etc. Compiles, maintains, and reports documentation relating to loan policy exceptions. Manage the department's loan workflow and tracking logs to meet production standards. Works to implement new processes to streamline documentation procedures and ensure timely delivery of loan documents and timely settlements. Works closely with loan officers to facilitate the delivery of superior customer service to increase the effectiveness of business development efforts. Assists subordinates in communicating with lead financial institutions and lenders to obtain outstanding documentation. Education & Qualifications: A B.S. or B.A. degree in business administration, paralegal studies, or a related field preferred; specialized lending education and training. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in banking, specifically in loan documentation and operations. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Skill(s): Advanced knowledge of loan documentation software (e.g., LaserPro) and core banking systems; Comprehensive understanding of state and federal lending laws; Strong skills in interpreting complex credit approvals and translating them into accurate legal documentation; Exceptional verbal and written skills; High precision in proofreading materials and identifying exceptions or missing information required for a high-quality loan settlement; demonstrated management and supervisory skills; ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach with hands or arms, use hands to manipulate objects, lift items weighting 20 lbs. or less; visual auditory and speaking skills. Pay Transparency: We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. The annual salary for this position is $72,000 - $110,000 Benefits: Mid Penn Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package to those who qualify.
