SCHOOL TRAFFIC ATTENDANT

Job Opportunity Dearborn, City of (MI) offers a part-time position with a rate of $16.96 per hour. The location is Dearborn, MI, and the job type is part-time with a continuous closing date. Rate of Pay: $16.96 per hour. Vacancies: Regular and substitute positions available in east and west Dearborn. Minimum Age: 18 years. Hours of Work: 2 hours per day, 10 hours per week, scheduled as follows: Morning - 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Afternoon - 2:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Duties and Responsibilities: An employee in this position assists school children crossing busy streets and intersections. The employee maintains order and safety while on duty, being aware of any possible hazards associated with changing traffic conditions. The employee is expected to be at their post on time, and be able to perform their duties as required regardless of weather conditions. Qualifications: Medical: Must meet physical requirements of position as determined by a designated physician. Necessary Special Qualifications: Must submit to a criminal history check, drug screen, and physical examination. Post Employment Offer Requirements: Satisfactory completion of criminal history (including sex offender registry if applicable), and a drug screen that tests for illegal drugs as defined by the Federal Drug Free Workplace Act but not those legalized under Michigan law
