Transportation Specialist

A company is looking for a Transportation Specialist responsible for analyzing and improving transportation processes and customer delivery. Key Responsibilities Analyze and enhance transportation processes, ensuring alignment with carrier performance and company objectives Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and dashboards to monitor transportation KPIs and manage carrier-related issues Support transportation directors with data analysis for cost reduction and improved customer experience initiatives Required Qualifications and Education Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in a related field Four-year bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, or similar fields, or equivalent experience Experience with RFPs and RFQs in a transportation environment Exposure to courier industry and pool distribution environments is beneficial Proficiency in data acquisition from various transportation management systems
