Certified Profee Coder III

A company is looking for a Profee Coder III (Radiology (IR), Vascular and Neurosurgery Coding). Key Responsibilities Perform charge capture, apply diagnoses and modifiers, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Maintain coding knowledge and billing regulations for CPT and ICD-10 codes and modifiers Consult with Coding Managers on edit discrepancies and participate in meetings and training as required Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional coding experience in a large academic medical setting Experience in coding professional Interventional Radiology services Active AAPC CIRCC, COC, CPC or AHIMA CCS certification at the time of hire Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathophysiology Proficient in EPIC, Microsoft Office, and TEAMS
