Pennsylvania Licensed Care Manager

A company is looking for a Care Manager, BH - Remote PA. Key Responsibilities Monitor inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse services for medical necessity and effectiveness Provide telephone triage, crisis intervention, and emergency authorizations as needed Develop and oversee implementation of discharge plans in collaboration with providers and facilities Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Current licensure in PA (CEAP, LMSW, LCSW, LSW, LPC, or RN) Minimum of 2 years of post-degree experience in healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance abuse settings Knowledge of utilization management procedures and community resources for mental health and substance abuse Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings Familiarity with DSM V or the most current diagnostic edition
