Electrical Estimator

Job Title: Senior Electrical Estimator Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial electrical construction projects while supporting overall profitability and long-term growth. This is a leadership position that oversees and mentors junior estimators, supports estimating process improvements, and collaborates closely with project management to ensure successful project execution from pre construction through closeout. Key Responsibilities Evaluate labor, materials, productivity rates, and project scope for commercial electrical proposals Prepare, review, and finalize detailed bid documents and cost estimates Manage bid schedules and oversee estimating workflow Support projects from preconstruction through change orders Collaborate with project managers to ensure scope alignment and smooth project handoff Mentor and develop junior estimators to strengthen technical and industry expertise Supervise and coordinate workflow of administrative support staff Assist with departmental budgeting and personnel forecasting Qualifications Minimum of seven (7) years of electrical estimating experience, preferably in commercial construction Journeyman-level electrical field experience preferred Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installations Proficiency with estimating software such as Bluebeam, TeleBid Pro, SureCount, Autodesk, and/or PlanSwift Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Work Environment Full-time onsite position based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA Office-based estimating role with coordination across project management and field teams
