VDC Project Manager General Contracting Work for a Midwest top ENR GC firm! Reduce Risk, Cost, and Schedule Issues Our client has over $300M in annual revenue with large diverse projects. Job Description Assist with the development, coordination, and maintenance of 3D BIM models for commercial construction projects. Support clash detection efforts and help track, document, and resolve coordination issues. Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and trade partners to support model-based coordination meetings. Maintain and organize VDC/BIM files, models, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Help prepare visualizations, model views, and construction sequencing support as needed. Assist in integrating VDC workflows with project schedules and construction activities. Support the use of VDC tools such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC, or similar platforms. Track updates from design teams and trade partners and help ensure models reflect current information. Learn and apply company VDC standards, processes, and best practices. Provide general VDC support to project teams while developing technical and coordination skills. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience with BIM/VDC software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar tools. Understanding of commercial construction methods and project delivery processes. Ability to support clash detection, model coordination, and design review. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with project teams and trade partners. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate models. Organizational skills to manage multiple models, files, and updates efficiently. Problem-solving mindset and ability to propose solutions during project coordination. Willingness to learn and grow professionally in VDC/project management workflows. Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud or other collaboration platforms is a plus. What's on Offer Base salary is based on experience.
