New York AML Compliance Director

A company is looking for a Director, AML Compliance who will serve as the designated AML Compliance Officer for its broker-dealer entity. Key Responsibilities Own and evolve the AML/BSA compliance program, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements Set AML strategy and oversee transaction monitoring, investigations, and risk frameworks Partner with cross-functional teams to design AML controls for new products and lead regulatory interactions Required Qualifications 10+ years of AML/BSA compliance experience, including leadership roles in regulated financial institutions Deep expertise in BSA/AML, SEC, and FINRA regulatory requirements Experience owning or shaping an AML program at scale Proven ability to lead regulatory exams and audits ACAMS or similar certification strongly preferred
