The Red Gate Group is seeking an experienced Customer Advocate to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Chief Information Officer. In this role you will serve as the customer-facing DIA representative to external customers and leads IT requirements collection, coordination, oversight of service fulfillment, and migration activities to ensure consistent, reliable IT services while partnering with customers to achieve their mission objectives. Responsibilities: Serve as the main Point of Contact (POC) for the Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), Technical Point of Contact (TPOC), and Government management while interacting with external customers Engage, educate, and advise customers to help define, refine, and document their IT requirements Coordinate internally across CIO from requirement origination to final fulfillment Provide situational awareness to external customer requirements while identifying internal CIO process improvements Perform in-depth requirements analysis and propose potential solutions Collaborate across CIO to define, implement, and/or refine methodologies for determination of requirements Work with partners and customers to understand new service offerings and translate them into internal requirements that can be implemented by design/engineering teams Build and maintain online requirement repositories, and collaborate with development, engineering and testing teams to create traceability from requirements origination to testing to implementation while documenting and leveraging lessons learned Qualifications: Active TS/SCI (CI Poly Preferred) 12 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years Master's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education Travel Requirements: Travel will be required within Washington National Capital Region (NCR) on an as-needed basis for customer or corporate requirements. Level of Responsibility: Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment concerning matters of administrative/operational needs. Level of Supervision Required: The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available. The employee plans and carries out the assignment resolves most of the conflicts, coordinates work with others and interpret policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment. Ability to type, sitting or standing, to complete work functions for hours at a time; ability to move between sitting, standing and walking on a frequent basis. This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week on site, Monday through Friday, within the contract hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
