This is a Program Management position within Advanced Development Programs F-35 Fighter Improvements and Derivatives organization. The successful candidate will act as a critical member of the program management office, supporting the Air Vehicle Portfolio Lead as a Program Manager for key activities and initiatives. What You Will Be Doing In this role, you will be responsible for: Planning and leading air vehicle projects, supporting the Air Vehicle lead in working across ADP, the Technology Roadmap team and the F-35 program team to transition technology to fighter aircraft. Developing and executing New Business Funds (NBF) and Contracted Research and Development (CRAD) projects related to maturing and transitioning thermal system technologies for the F-35. Support Air Vehicle Lead in developing collaborative relationships with customer, labs, and industry/supplier partners to shape, develop and transition new vehicle system capabilities to the F-35 in support of warfighter needs Basic Qualifications: Program management and/or project management experience Multidisciplinary understanding of air vehicle technologies and interactions between highly integrated systems (for example: Propulsion, Thermal, and/or Power Generation/Distribution). Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through significant milestones and cultivating collaborative relationships with engine OEMs, suppliers, and multi-government agencies Matlab and Simulink modeling environments experience Applied digital thread technologies Active Secret clearance Desired Skills: Background in systems engineering, hardware/software development and/or test Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Teams Competency Demonstrated ability to deconstruct requirements from air vehicle level to component level Experience in technology roadmap development Experience with various coding platforms (NPSS, C++, Python, Microsoft VB, etc.) and complex co-simulation of air vehicle systems Experience leading efforts across a wide range development phases including concept initiation, proof of concept, risk reduction testing, proposal lead, product transition, and execution. Understand and be able to apply Earned Value Management and tracking, VEMO or similar staffing programs, IT processes and systems Familiarity with AI routines/processes Strong verbal and written communication skills Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
