Salary: $130 - 145 per hour Reference: JN -092025-34384 Cardiac Surgery PA-C or NP-C - No Call Required - Maryland We have an ongoing locum tenens opportunity for an experienced Cardiovascular Surgery PA-C or NP-C in Maryland. This assignment offers a fantastic schedule in a supportive, collaborative inpatient environment, allowing you to focus on patient care without the demand of being on call. Highlights No call required Consistent four-day work week Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are all provided Ongoing assignment for stable, long-term coverage Practice Setting Inpatient cardiovascular surgery service Join a team managing 8-15 post-operative patients Assist in an average of 1-2 surgical cases per day Work with full hospital support staff Schedule Four 10-hour shifts per week Scheduled between Monday and Friday Provides for 16 shifts of coverage per month Procedures and Cases Must have direct Cardiovascular OR experience Required proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting (Vasoview hemopro) Manage post-op care, central lines, arterial lines, and chest tubes Requirements Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Active BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum of 36 months of direct experience required Open to PAs who need to obtain a Maryland license Credentialing Requirements Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days Our team offers full support to streamline the process Travel Accommodations All airfare, rental car, and housing arrangements are covered for the duration of the assignment.
