AI/ML Platform Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff AI/ML Platform Engineer to build foundational systems for AI in research and development. Key Responsibilities Design and develop high-performance Python APIs and backend services for AI capabilities Build and maintain long-running workflow pipelines and orchestrate multi-step agent pipelines Architect and maintain data pipelines that support AI/ML workflows and ensure system reliability Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 7+ years, or Master's/PhD with 5+ years of experience in software engineering Advanced proficiency in Python, including async programming and performance optimization Experience with REST API development and workflow orchestration tools like Ray or Temporal Strong background in data engineering and experience with cloud platforms and containerization Track record of operating production systems at scale
