Quality & Assurance / Warranty Specialist (Direct Hire) Location: North Royalton, OH Pay: Up to $24/hr Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Industry: Manufacturing / Product Quality / Warranty Support We are a third-party recruiting partner representing a well-respected organization in North Royalton, OH, and we're seeking a motivated and detail-driven Quality & Assurance / Warranty Specialist. This is an exciting direct-hire opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and enjoys solving complex product or customer issues. If you have experience supporting warranty processes, reviewing quality issues, managing documentationor you've worked in IT recruiting where you developed skills in intake, technical documentation, client communication, and issue trackingyou may be an excellent match for this role. About the Role This position supports product quality initiatives and warranty operations to ensure customers receive timely, accurate resolutions. You'll collaborate with engineering, production, customer service, and vendor partners to investigate product concerns, review warranty claims, and help maintain high-quality performance standards. Key Responsibilities Review, evaluate, and process warranty claims in compliance with company policies and product specifications. Investigate customer concerns, gather data, and determine root cause by working closely with quality and engineering teams. Maintain detailed documentation related to product issues, test results, and case resolutions. Track recurring issues, product trends, and quality gaps; provide recommendations for process improvements. Communicate clearly with customers, suppliers, and internal teams regarding warranty status and quality updates. Assist with updating SOPs, workflows, and quality documentation. Support company audits, quality initiatives, and corrective action reports as needed. What We're Looking For Experience in quality assurance, warranty support, product testing, technical support, or related fields. Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain findings clearly. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP, CRM, or ticketing systems is a plus. Transferable experience from IT recruiting (documentation, intake, issue tracking, customer/client communication) is welcomed.
