Installation Coordinator EPS has an opening for an Installation Coordinator. This person will be responsible for scheduling installation jobs and maintaining the technicians' schedules. Responsibilities: Responsible for contacting customers to schedule new and "in-progress" installations for EPS branch offices. Scheduling jobs based upon priority, estimated labor time, travel time between sites/technician home location, and job specifics/disciplines. Coordinates with customers to ensure alignment of scheduling expectations in order to have a successful installation. Responsible for communicating with customers or internal parties concerning installation jobs via email, phone, or messaging. Contact customers to confirm that the job site is ready 3 business days in advance. Coordinate with the Permit Specialist to confirm any required permits are available before a technician arrives on site, taking appropriate action if they are not available. Reschedule technician's scheduled jobs when notified of technician not being available. When scheduling issues arise, determine best way to resolve conflict and maneuver schedule to meet all customers' needs. If unable to do so, work with Installation and/or Support Management to determine the best course of action. Update all "in-progress" jobs on a daily basis, adding applicable notes or change status based on information received from the field or customer. Updating all applicable software platforms related to the job including Trello, and Phoenix. Maintain the backlog of installation jobs in a way to minimize the time from job creation to finish. Ensure all closeout documents are included and processes checked before closing the installation job. Coordinate with Sales, subcontractors, supervisors and electricians, other Support departments etc. as needed to expedite scheduling and installation of jobs. Required Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an administrative position Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required to coordinate and communicate work to customers and employees High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to multitask Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen Ability to work in Grand Rapids, Michigan, without relocation assistance Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a fast-paced environment Prior experience managing, dispatching or scheduling field teams in related industries Proficiency in the following, Helpdesk Systems, Project Management Software, Slack or Microsoft Teams, Trello, and Microsoft 365 suite Our Benefits: Full benefits package (Healthcare, dental, vision, Life, and LTD insurance) Competitive starting pay with annual merit raises Career advancement opportunities 401(k) with company contributions Education reimbursement Paid time off and company holidays
