Job Title: Sr. Compliance Analyst Location: 2 Folsom San Francisco CA (94105) Work set-up: 100% On-site Duration: 06-month contract (with possible extension or conversion) Pay Rate: $ 54.68/hr. on W2 Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision. The Mission The Sr. Compliance Analyst is the "data conscience " of our IT ecosystem. You won't just be checking boxes; you will be architecting the visibility engine that keeps our enterprise secure, patched, and optimized. As part of the Office of IT Hygiene, you will transform raw compliance data into a narrative that compels action, ensuring our infrastructure remains resilient and our governance frameworks stay ahead of the curve. Key Responsibilities Architect Visibility: Design and scale automated, durable reporting ecosystems that measure the "heartbeat " of IT hygienetracking adoption, maturity, and ROI. Compliance Storytelling: Don't just deliver data; deliver insights. Investigate the "why " behind the numbers, identifying why certain teams excel while others lag. Risk Detection: Proactively identify performance drift and emerging compliance trends before they become audit failures. Governance Advocacy: Act as a strategic advisor to IT and business leaders, translating complex policy requirements into actionable operational goals. Process Evolution: Audit the auditors. You will evaluate our existing hygiene policies and recommend "v2.0 " improvements to ensure they remain frictionless and effective. Cross-Functional Bridge: Align with Risk, Audit, and Security teams to ensure a unified "single source of truth " for IT health across the enterprise. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Science, Business, or a related field. Expertise: 610 years of experience in IT Compliance, Governance, or IT Operations Analytics. Technical Toolbelt: Advanced proficiency in Power BI, ServiceNow Performance Analytics, or Tableau. You should be comfortable manipulating large datasets and automating reporting workflows. Analytical Rigor: A track record of turning messy, disparate data into clean, executive-ready visualizations. Framework Fluency: Practical understanding of ITIL, COBIT, or NIST frameworks. Communication: The ability to challenge senior leadership with data-backed findings while maintaining a collaborative, "problem-solver " reputation. What Success Looks Like "Within the first 90 days, you will have audited our current reporting suite, identified three critical 'blind spots' in our hygiene metrics, and established a monthly cadence for high-impact performance reviews with key domain owners.
