We are seeking a Geriatrician for a locum tenens assignment in California, starting Feb 17, 2026, for a 60-day contract. This Monday through Friday, full-time opportunity focuses on PACE work with low patient volume, supporting patients aged 55 and older in underserved communities. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Feb 17, 2026 LOA: 60 days Provider Type Needed: Geriatrician Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time Responsibilities and Duties Provide all-inclusive care for patients 55 years and older in a PACE setting Complete paperwork and administrative tasks as required Serve a predominantly Spanish-speaking patient population, with translator and medical assistant support Deliver care to underserved patients, including a high percentage of Medicaid recipients Ensure compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards Additional Information Locum experience required Experience in FQHC, Rural Health, or IHS settings preferred Recent geriatric-focused clinical experience is mandatory; experience in urgent care, internal medicine, or pediatrics will not be accepted Active California DEA and furnishing license required Board certification in Geriatric Medicine required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
