(Pittsburgh-area CRNA jobs) Assignment Duration: 20 weeks (through September 5, 2026) Employment Type: Locum tenens / travel CRNA opportunity Start Date: Upon completion of facility credentialing Shifts per Week: 5 (Monday-Friday) Shift Duration: 8, 10, or 12-hour day shifts Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $3740-$4360 Case Types: Orthopedics, General Surgery, Healthy Pediatrics, some Trauma (OR anesthesia, perioperative cases) OB Experience: Preferred but not required Job Requirements Active CRNA certification and eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania CRNA license or ability to obtain) Minimum of 1 year recent clinical experience as a CRNA in a perioperative/acute care or OR setting Proficiency providing general anesthesia for orthopedics, general surgery, healthy pediatrics, and trauma cases Strong communication, teamwork, and perioperative collaboration skills for anesthesia teams Ability to complete facility credentialing, onboarding, and privileging requirements Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality general anesthesia and perioperative anesthesia care across a range of surgical specialties as a locum tenens CRNA Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia while continuously monitoring physiologic status and ensuring patient safety Provide OR anesthesia coverage for orthopedics, general surgery, pediatrics, and occasional trauma cases Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNA colleagues, nursing, and perioperative staff in a team-based environment Document anesthesia care accurately in the electronic health record in accordance with facility policies Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and perioperative workflow optimization Why Wexford, PA?
