This is an employed position with a base salary + RVU bonus, CME money and standard hospital benefits including malpractice coverage. Job Description: Compensation : $400000 - $425000 Job ID : 42673 Job Function: Department currently has seven general GIs who report into Chair of GI, looking to grow by 4-5 to upcoming merger with large hospital system. Program has therapeutic endoscopists, 2 hepatologists that rotate through, a GI motility program and a large pediatric IBD program that provides referrals. Expect schedule to be equivalent of 4 days/8 sessions clinical and 1 day/2 sessions towards administrative time. Call schedule in flux as go through H&H merger, expect large call pool with limited expectations to come in. Involvement in teaching and academics required, have two fellows in program + will engage with fellows at sister hospitals. Faculty appointment through local medical school.
