Location: Redding, CA Facility: Level II Trauma Center ️ Setting: Neuro-Trauma ICU Coverage Type: Locum Tenens Position Summary Neurosurgery/Trauma ICU management of emergency surgery patients involving brain, neck, and spine conditions. Ideal candidates are Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with a strong background in neuro-trauma and/or neuro-critical care. Schedule & Availability Updated Dates Needed: Jan 8 9 Jan Jan Feb 3 25 March 3 4 March 9 18 March April 7 12 April May 4 13 May June 1 7 June June 29 Dec 31 Average Patient Load: ICU patients per provider per day ️ Duties & Required Procedures Low/Moderate Risk Procedures: Laceration repair Peripheral IV access Fracture/dislocation reductions (minimal/moderate displacement) High-Risk Procedures: G-tube placement Endotracheal intubation Cardioversion/defibrillation LMA Paracentesis Chest tubes Central & arterial line placement EMR Cerner Care B ️ Travel Preferences Lodging Travel Submission Requirements: Board Certification: NP: ANCC or AANP PA: NCCPA Active State License Certifications: ACLS, ATLS (preferred, not a deal breaker), DEA Strong neurosurgery and/or neuro-critical care experience ️ Clean malpractice history
