This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Towne Centre Drive (San Diego, CA) and remote. 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. DESCRIPTION Applies skills as a seasoned, experienced technical project management professional with a full understanding of project management frameworks and methods, relevant policies and procedures to resolve a wide range of issues. Demonstrates competency in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions. Manages projects of diverse scope, size, impact, budget and / or project team size. Experienced professional who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with in-depth understanding of the professional field; independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function; possesses broad job knowledge; analyzes problems / issues of diverse scope and determines solutions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus three years of related experience/training. Related experience:Ability to coordinate small to medium size projects or events, Multiple years of experience working with UCSD and UCSDH customers and stakeholders, working with Epic Community Connect affiliates and/or experience with Epic and the user provisioning process. Requires effective communication and organization skills. Requires basic knowledge of project management principles, theories, and concepts. Requires ability to assess campus, medical center or Office of the President needs for information technology products and design services to meet those needs. Working knowledge of technology-related initiatives and an understanding of impact to the organization of such initiatives. Demonstrated capacity to anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies. Demonstrated attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to determine relevance and prioritize tasks. Demonstrated advanced organization and project management skills. Demonstrated effective writing skills. Demonstrated competency in selecting and implementing project management methods and techniques. Broad knowledge of technology-related initiatives and an understanding of impact to the organization of such initiatives. Knowledge of most aspects of computing and communications including hardware infrastructure, networking, software, operations and disaster recovery. Proven leadership ability. Effective problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to put forth persuasive arguments. Effective skill at tracking effort and project progress. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bi-lingual in English and Spanish. SPECIAL CONDITIONS Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical. SPECIAL CONDITIONS Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $97,200 - $182,000 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $46.55 - $87.16 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
