Ophthalmology Physician

Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive Neuro-Ophthalmological evaluations for conditions affecting the visual pathways and eye movement control. Diagnose and treat visual problems related to the nervous system, including unexplained or sudden vision loss. Perform Neuro-Ophthalmologic testing, including: Visual acuity and visual field testing Pupillary reactivity assessments Color perception evaluation Ocular alignment testing Optical coherence tomography (OCT) Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment options, and ongoing care plans. Collaborate within a strong interdisciplinary team that includes: RN, MA, Neuro-Ophthalmology Technicians, MSW, Patient Support Coordinator, PT, OT, and Vestibular Rehab. As part of a national Multiple Sclerosis Society Partner in MS Care, contribute to high-quality care for MS patients. Conduct General Neurology visits as needed while building the Neuro-Ophthalmology practice.
