Neurosurgery Physician Needed in Omaha, Nebraska Join a partnership-track neurosurgery role with a respected, physician-owned private practice serving the community for over 75 years. The group is expanding and seeking two full-time neurosurgeons to meet growing demand. This position focuses on adult general and spine neurosurgery in a high-volume, high-autonomy setting, with opportunities to incorporate endovascular or skull base work. This is i deal for a neurosurgeon seeking a busy practice and a clear path to ownership within an established group. Practice Overview You'll join a 33 provider orthopedic & neurosurgery practice (largest locally owned in Greater Omaha) with 75+ years community presence Immediate access to a strong referral base; recent hire reached highest volume in Call schedule is 1:7 with 24/7 resident support (PGY 3 & PGY 6), with very limited true nighttime callbacks Spine focused general neurosurgery preferred ( % spine); candidates with endovascular or skull base/tumor interest will also be considered; no pediatric cases Schedule Expect a standard weekday clinic/surgery schedule with limited after hour burden thanks to resident backup Weekend call: minimal dedicated weekends; integrated into typical 1:7 rotation Operative and clinic mix allows you to lean into your procedural strengths while maintaining work/life balance Outreach clinic flexibility available to expand regional presence if desired Compensation & Benefits New graduates: guaranteed base $450K $500K for first 2 years Experienced surgeons: base $600K $700K+ (depending on credentials and volume) Partnership potential: total compensation $750K $1.2M+ (includes ownership of physician owned surgical hospital with 30%+ ROI) Sign on bonus $50K $75K, relocation up to $15K Time off: 4 6+ weeks PTO, CME allowance, malpractice coverage with tail included Full benefit suite including retirement plan, health/dental, and full support staff/PA ratio Candidate Requirements Board eligible or board certified in neurological surgery Comfortable covering general neurosurgery and spine (or interest in that mix) Willingness to participate in call rotation and residency program support Collegial, team oriented mindset aligned with Midwest values and local community engagement Community & Location Highlights Omaha metro ( 1 million population) offers an affordable cost of living, strong schools, and safe neighborhoods; ideal for family or personal lifestyle Cultural amenities, arts, professional sports, airport access, and Midwest utilities provide an excellent quality of life without the congestion or expense of a large coastal metro Proximity to the nearby physician owned surgical hospital allows single location call and clinic convenience, supporting work/life balance A chance to build your practice in a stable, well credentialed environment with full payer access and a physician owned structure
